Grown Up

It rained when I wanted it to,
they said school's closed due to rain.
Sun always shone bright when I wanted to play,
they said it's summer.
No more reflections in the mirror that i know,
Am I loosing touch....?
I guess I have grown up.

Running along a rail track, chasing aeroplanes,
Mesmersing ant chains, ....incredible game of star gazing.....
are there still stars in the sky??
Am I loosing touch?
I guess I have grown up.

Strangers don't smile at me anymore,
possibly I have turned invisible.
Shadows don't excite me, I guess light bulbs have gone too bright,
I don't even know if I still cast a shadow..

I owned a bank, an aeroplane, a train with tracks and a fully functional railway junction,
a football stadium with not one but two teams....
Now,I guess I have grown up.
